Anzac biscuits

ingredients  

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups coconut
  • 1 and half cups sugar
  • 250g butter
  • 4 tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp boiling water

equipment

  • tray
  • tbsp
  • tsp
  • sauce pan
  • cups
  • big mixing bowl
  • fork

method

  1. put oven to 160'c
  2. put oats,flour,coconut,sugar in bowl
  3. melt butter and golden syrup in sauce pan
  4. mix baking soda and boiling water add to melted butter and syrup pour it in to big bowl mix well
  5. roll spoons-full of mixture into balls 5cm apart.Press lightly with fork
  6. bake for 20 mins
  7. let it cool down
  8. enjoy your biscuit
